PHCA Job Opportunities
PHCA is currently accepting applications for the following positions. Applicants for teaching positions should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree along with the desire to minister to young students. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required. The following positions are available:
The Little Lions Preschool Teacher must be a spiritually sensitive individual who understands the mission and philosophy of Plaza Heights Christian Academy and is committed to promoting it as it becomes a reality in the lives of our students by manifesting it by precept and example through every practice as a Christian role model (I Timothy 4:12) both in and out of school (Luke 6:40), and as an example to parents and fellow employees in judgment, dignity, respect, and Christian living according to the conditions of employment outlined in the PHCA Faculty Contract. The teacher must be a born again Christian with spiritual maturity in academic and leadership abilities that will enable him/her to teach God’s truth. The teacher must have the ability to communicate well with various types of people, handle confidential information appropriately, maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude and integrity in all situations. K-12 Theatre, Speech, and Debate Teacher
Sixth Grade Teacher
Secondary Math: This is a full time teaching position for Secondary Math for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants for teaching positions should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree along with the desire to minister to young students. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
Secondary Instrumental Music: This is a part time teaching position for Secondary Instrumental Music for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants for teaching positions should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree along with the desire to minister to young students. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required.

Substitute teachers
PHCA is currently accepting applications for substitute teachers.
Applicants would have the opportunity to cover Preschool through twelfth grades. This
position could be full days covering classes or just a few hours at a time.
