ALWAYS BE A LION
Plaza Heights Christian AcademySpiritual Life at PHCA

PHCA held the first, annual spiritual emphasis week during the last week of October for all students, preschool through twelfth grade. The theme was “All-In”. Middle and high school students attended chapel services Monday through Wednesday where they spent time worshiping and learning more about going “all-in” in their relationship with Christ. Secondary students also spent time with elementary and preschool students sharing their testimonies and praying with the younger students. The week culminated with the ninth through twelfth grade students attending the Fall Retreat at Amazing Grace Bible Camp in Ottawa, Kansas. We pray this week and the time of worship and teaching was beneficial to our students in developing their relationship with Jesus, and we are looking forward to adding spiritual emphasis week to our annual calendar.

Join Us for Chapel Every Week on Wednesday!!
Our Elementary students attend chapel every week for about 30-35 minutes. They worship with our student led Praise Band and then hear a message presented by a pastor or PHCA staff member.
Our Middle School/High School students also attend chapel every week for about 45 minutes. They also worship with our student led Praise Band and then hear a message presented by a pastor or PHCA staff member. Our students then go to advisory group for about 15 minutes. This is a time for students to answer questions posed by the chapel speaker and to also visit more in depth about chapel.
Chapel is also recorded and uploaded onto the school YouTube channel–LionsTV by our Praise Band Crew! You can tune in any time to find that recording.

PHCA Mission Trips!
Each year during the summer secondary students embark on a mission trip! The past two summers students and staff have served in Arlington, Texas at Mission Arlington. The experiences have been extraordinary for each of the students! Whether they are serving in the clothing closet or running back yard bible clubs, the students are truly being the hands and feet of the Lord!

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
